Awesome replacement for the price June 24, 2010

2nd time I've bought SterlingTek battery to have a back up for my camera. First was a for my Canon point and shoot a few years ago, and then this one for my Panny. Works perfect, no issues with new software compatibility. Haven't done any hard tests, but I believe the life of this battery might be slightly less than the OEM. Hard to tell though so gave it five stars....if I was sure life was less than OEM, might have given 4 stars. Can't beat it for the price compared to OEM.

This product seems to be a great fit with my Panasonic Lumix ZS3 Camera.

Make no mistake, this one works in my Lumix ZS3 / TZ7 camera. And it's half the cost. The battery lasts just as long, if not longer. What more could you want?

The battery lasts longer than the one that came with the camera. Had tired another brand that claimed to be compatable, but was rejected by the camera. Panasonic brand of poorer quality was twice as expensive.

I was hesitant to purchase the battery, but after looking around - this seemed like the best bet.
My camera came with firmware 1.2. I got this battery and it works great!
The shipping was very quick - 2 days.
I'm very satisfied with this product and if you are shopping around, feel safe knowing these batteries WILL and DO work in the new firmware from panasonic.
